inspiration of the week: Ben Pentreath
here it is…
I’m in love with this kitchen designed by Ben Pentreath, located in Hampstead, London. If you are not familiar with his work you must check it out, it is stunning!
The first thing that caught my eye was the blue cabinets. With so many kitchens going white it's refreshing to see a designer step out of the box. This kitchen has so many little details that make it so spectacular.
it’s all about the details
Here are a few of the details I love about this kitchen, the three light brass pendant over the island, the massive slabs of marble used on the counters and backsplash, the copper pot rack hung under the stainless vent hood, and the freestanding china cabinet with the interior painted a grass green.
The footprint of the kitchen is large but not massive like some kitchens I’ve seen. The kitchen has been laid out to maximize its function. The breakfast nook is so warm and welcoming. The wall of windows helps to flood the kitchen with natural light, and I'm sure it provides a fabulous view beyond.
Spend some time examining this beautiful kitchen. Let me know what other little details you like about this design. Enjoy!
