pool days

pool days

The humidity is beginning to rise here is TN and I'm itching to get to the pool.  Nothing is more relaxing or more refreshing than sticking your feet in the water; whether it's a pond, a river, the ocean or a pool.

As a kid, I always wanted a pool.  Luckily my neighbors across the street had a lovely pool and we lived within walking distance to our country club.  Did I join the swim team or go every day during the summer? Of course not! By the time I was old enough to walk to the pool by myself I was going off to sleep-away camp for 6 weeks.

Plus, I have a slight fear of the water. My Dad never learned how to swim but that didn't stop him from taking me out into the ocean when we went to the beach every June. This may be where my slight anxiety about swimming stems from.

As of now, I have no plans to go sit at the pool. I'm hoping that will change in the next few weeks, but until then, these pictures will have to tide me over.  Enjoy!
